International Literacy Day Celebration.

'Literacy is the fertilizer needed for overall development of a child'
International Literacy Day (8th September, 2016) was celebrated at DPS, Ajmer. Principal Reema Singh Madhur encouraged the students to understand the importance of literacy for them to be successful, happy human beings.
Students created Book Bank in the school. Children in need, from rural/countryside community were invited to the school and were taught by DPS students and teachers. They enjoyed the horse riding and archery sessions too. This initiative was well received and appreciated. Efforts will be made to sustain this Literacy Campaign by teaching the children in need, on a regular basis.
